Indivisible Metro East

Sauget, IL, July 17, 2021: Indivisible Metro East hosted a Meet and Eat for Democracy and a John Lewis Vigil.

Members used the gathering to socialize sharing food potluck-style. They registered people to vote and they collected donations for a local domestic violence shelter. This gathering was a part of a nationwide vigil in honor of John Lewis and the John Lewis Voting Rights and Advancement Act, DC Statehood and For the People Act.
