Resources
- Why can’t we have an honest conversation about critical race theory? Q&A with Karen Attiah Earlier this week, writer Karen Attiah held a Q&A about CRT in the Washington Post. Many of the questions asked are ones that we have heard (or maybe even had) ourselves. [A free WP account is needed to view that, or see the PDF here]
- Last week, Joyce Slavik and Jim McGrath of NWSOFA spoke to the Indivisible Illinois Social Justice Alliance about combating disinformation at local school board meetings. See the slides from that presentation for important information about national and local movements.
- The podcast Southlake explores the story of how Southlake TX and its local school board have become “the poster child for a new political strategy with national repercussions.” If you’re curious about the content of the podcast, but aren’t a listener, here is a review of it. Don’t think this is just happening in Texas, because it’s happening everywhere.
